Is there anyway to print one single record from a file? I can't seem to
find this anywhere within the documentation.

Sorry, but have you tried the helpfile? one search one print gives a
massive
amount of info on printing. The first hit "printing records" has the
following

6.
In the Print dialog box, for Print, choose an option (Windows) or
choose FileMaker Pro from the pop-up menu (Mac OS).

To print
Choose

All records in the found set
Records being browsed

Only the record currently selected in Browse mode
Current record

A blank record using the current layout (use this
option to print a blank "form")
Blank record, showing fields, then choose a formatting
option

Thanks, I kept getting too many records so I have to be extremely
specific about which record is in the browse mode but I don't get a pop
up menu with selecting print.

It's the normal File menu at the top of the Mac's screen or FileMaker's
main window under Windows. You'll get the same print options window
when using the keyboard shortcut as well.

The only way you don't get the print options window is when using a
FileMaker script that has the Print command suppressing the window for
some reason.

Under older versions of the Mac OS there may not be a pop-up menu with
the "FileMaker Pro" option. On my computer under Mac OS 9 these options
are simply displayed at the bottom of the print options window.
