Is it possible to send a readable extract from a FileMaker Pro *
database to a user who does not have Filemaker Pro?
e.g if I have a database with 10 record can I extract records 7, 8 & 9
and send them to another user who does not have FileMaker Pro but may
have a word processor such as Word. I only want them to be able to
examine not alter the received data.
I am using FileMaker 8 on a Mac.

Find the records you want them to see.
File / Export Records
Specify the name of the file and the fields to be exported.
What results is a tab-delimited text file that can be read by anyone (remember to give them a key to the field order).
