HELP: Using JPEG in a container field ?s

I am using Filemaker Pro 5.5v1 on a machine that has Windows XP Home Edition
(Full Edition not the upgrade)

I have a field named 'Picture' and is a container field and I was inserting
a picture into the field. I was checking the box to 'Store only As a
Reference to the File' to keep my database file from becoming so large.
Last count I had over 3200+ records.

I had all my JPEGS in a folder on my C drive.

Yesterday I created a new folder and moved certain JPEGS to the new folder.
I knew that by doing this the next time I started FMP that it would show
empty space in the field labeled 'Picture'.

I knew I would have to go to each record and do the initial process over to
update the reference.

I am still wanting to check the box 'Store only As a Reference to the File'
but once I do and select the proper JPEG file and select 'OK' it still
displays 'Could not drab picture file: XXXXXXX.jpg'

Why does this happen?

If I follow the same as above and don't choose the 'Store only As a
Reference to the File' to picture appears.

What is the problem?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Carl
