So sorry to bug you with this elementary questions, but I'm stuck!
Using FileMaker 7.0 on a OS 10.4 This database is pretty simple
linking 2 tables of members information and dues and donations paid.
I've a layout showing all the members, their information and what
dues/donations they've paid. Very simply I need the number of records
shown (members on the list) to show up in the header of the layout.
I've done this in many other databases by putting in the header
<<CountLastName>> or whatever field name I want to count by. And it's
always shown the number of records found. This time I can't get it to
work. What am I doing wrong?
The LastName field is in the main table. I've fields in the layout in
a portal from the other table.
