2nd post?:Totalling / counting entries within a field

Pardon me if this post has alreay appeared. I posted it a couple of days
ago but I'm not seeing it or any replies on my computer.

I have a FM 8 database with a field called 'orders'

In 'orders' are the numbers of the packages that were ordered. ie:
12/3/17/17
The example shows that the customer ordered 1 of package 12, 1 of package 3
and 2 of package 17.

I have hundreds of files. I have a total of 26 packages to choose from.

I would like to be able to calculate how many of each package was ordered
for a range of customers.

Using the following 3 orders as an example, can you tell me the calculation
that I would need to accomplish this task?

#1) 3/4/4
#2) 3/5/5/12
#3) 6/7/7/7/10

I would like the calculation would return something like the following:

Package number Total
3 2
4 2
5 2
6 1
7 3
10 1
12 1

Thanks in advance.

Kenny
