Importing Text files with different delimiters

Hi

I am new to Filemaker. I am using V 8.5
I need to import text files which use a tilde (~) as a field delimter.

At first glance it looks like to me like Filemaker will only import
tab or comma delimited files,

Is this correct or is there a way around it?
