Changing printers...

Hi peoples..

I'm using FM8.5A on the Mac, and looking for a way to change printers
in the middle of a script..

Done a google search and it seems the plugins available are either
outrageously expensive, only for Windows, or only for older versions of
FM.. Or all 3 :)

And to finish me off, I read in the help that 8.5 will cheerfully
ignore the printer specified in the Print or Print Setup steps if you
select 'without dialog'

Am I making sense here?? I would have thought that by now they'd have
got something seemingly so simple right..

I have several possible uses for switching printers in a script, in my
current project, for instance printing a delivery docket to the local
printer and the picking ticket to stores. Also printing to a dymo for
labels when goods are receipted without having to manually switch
between laser and dymo - or it will drive my users up the wall!!!

And the wording of the help seemed ominous - I take it I can't now fire
off a Applescript to tell the Finder to switch default printers - does
FM now ignore the system default printer in favour of whatever was last
specified within FM ??? And in any case - using Applescript means it
is no longer cross platform and I have no control over what machines
they have...

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

P.S. Sorry for bugging you guys with yet another silly question, but I
