No, FileMaker Server doesn't let you "edit" files; it just serves them
up.

You're right, but the question was on FMP Advanced.
Steeve, for the advanced one, you can use it as a "normal" FMP. The
"extra" features are only some help for developper job and don't change
the other features. Then, I would too advise you to buy one FMP Advanced
as Bill Marriott said in his previous message.
