We have Filemaker Pro version 4. We use it as a "shared" file. However,
recently it's been loosing records and fields. What is going on?
Would an upgrade to the current server version fix this? We can not afford
to upgrade the client machines using version 4. We can however afford a new
version for the server.

I dont intend to use ISA as i have no knowledge of it however i have thought that if i upgrade it to 2GB RAM put in a RAID controller and switch over to that and maybe use 4x 200GB Drives i am wondering wether i can raid it so i can have 400GB HDD main space and 400GB HDD mirror for failsafe. ... i can also up the processor speed to 3.5GHz i cant really do alot more than that but it may aswell be a server for the upgrades its going to get this week. ... Or get a business lease through your own bank... ... problems with pdf_new() ... We're using PDFlib 5.0.3. ... (Can't afford to upgrade right now.) ... but we "installed" PDFlib on the new server... (comp.lang.php)
