Tabs & Get(Flag)

I started playing with Tabs in FM8. I have a question mark on all
screens that link to the help file. A variable always stores which
screen I'm at so I can open the help file displaying the section for
that screen. I know you can get FM to go to a specific tab by putting
a field on the tab, but how do I figure out which tab a user is at so
that I can still go to the appropriate help section?

I was looking for a "Get(TabName)" or something like that when I came
across "Get(Flag)" again, what the hell is that? I wasted a good 10
minutes to find out its got to be the only function not described in
the Help file. I seem to recall thinking it was a dumb function before
but I don't remember if that was after I found out what it did or
because it wasn't documented.
