Re: Hiding <No Access>

I have the same problem, but I've noticed fields displayed from another
table, by a relationship, are blank when a user has restricted access, it's
as if FMP breaks the relationship.

Hello all,

Working in FMP 8v2.
I have an admissions db [single table] to which diff. departments will
have access.
I want to restrict each dept to their own student's record.
But, I do not want them to see the hideous No Access that Filemaker
insists on showing.
Does anyone have any neat solutions?
This is what I have done so far.
I created Privilige Sets for each dept. and an opening script that
matches the user with the department and displays the resulting found
set. Hid the sidemenu. Created own navigation menu.

any help is appreciated.
