If you do not see DEMODATA or DefaultDB, then your install did not
complete correctly. I would recommend reinstalling (be sure you
install as root) such that you can see this first.
Some obvious questions:
- Are you rtunning the PCC from the Linux box or from a workstation?
- If workstation, have you entered the server name into the name space
(left side) correctly?
- Are you logging in properly? (Right click on server name, select
Login, and enter a user name & password that has been given proper
rights throutgh the btadmin tool.)

Just completed an install of PSQL 9.1. I can run pcc (control centre)
with no issues, however, I am unable to see the sample or DEMODATA
databases, nor am I able to create a new database. The error is 7004:
General failure code. I have searched through the Pervasive website kb
and haven't found any solutions there.
The server is Linux RedHat ES 4. I have checked that the psql user
and the psvw group have all the appropriate rights to the various
folders, files, etc.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
