Try running the Pervasive SYstem Analyzer Network Communications Test
from the client to the server. Be sure to go into "Advanced" settings
and select TCP only, and set it for 2000 test packets.
While running, watch the screen count -- the counting should be fast
and smooth. If it runs slowly, or if you see it pause (any pause of
more than 1/4 second indicates a lost network packet), then you are
experiencing networking problems. Double-check NIC settings, duplex
settings, and other items to see what might be amiss.
