As I recall (I don't remember the source, I believe that this was on
one of INFORMS conferences), JSolver was replaced by Java version of
Ilog Concert.
I think you are thinking of ILOG CP Optimizer 1.0. I've got an
evaluation license of it, although I've only played with it briefly.
The programming interface seems to be pretty much Concert (with some new
functions), and it does indeed have a Java API (along with a C++ API).
Looks pretty respectably to me (but I'm a novice at constraint
programming, and for lack of time I've only given it a cursory look so far).
Most likely this is Jave interface to ILOG Solver (C++
implementation of their CP). But I have never seen this stuff.
Means, I have never seen the most up-to-date Java version. I have
experience with C++ Solver and it seems pretty solid.
