I wanna decompress a *.gz file

Hello,

I wanna decompress a *.gz file. And I get the data from the file but I
don't get the filename. I read the Specification RFC1952 but I come to
no solution. I need the bitposition, where the filename is set.

I hope that someone understand me. ;)
