I work on Linux and VirtualDub is only supported on win32. It doesn't

video... I assume because I don't have h264 codec on XP. Is there free
source h264 encoder implementation for XP ?
ffmpeg has a windows implementation that allows itself to be installed
and recognized among the list of codecs. If you are encoding with
ffmpeg in Linux and want them to read in Windows, that's your best bet.
