3DConnexion Driver causing 2x load time

This is kind of old news, but since we were running SW2007 untill this
weekend and therefor still could use an old driver from 2006 we didnt
have to deal with it till now.

All new drivers I have tried (for my SpacePilot) is cause the loadtime
from a server to double.

My VAR made this case with 3DConnexion, but they replied him they
never saw it before... never the less I had the exact same problems
since beginning of 2007 where they updated the driver a fair bit (new
look).


I was hoping others could share that they have the same problem and/or
could try it out and post it here. I used DU Meter to monitor it. It
dosnt create more network traffic, but the download rate is halfed.

The download is from a system where we have all our files on a server
and load it from there, no PDM system.

I can reproduce it on any of our 20ish machines each and every single
time.
