Re: Q: wireless mouse problem with acad 2006

I've got the same problem with a logitech mouse and a couple month old
Dell laptop.... get used to using the zoom in\out to pan OR risk
messing up the touchpad by fully installing the 2nd party mouse
software. I've decided to not risk messing the touchpad up.

If you use a plug in mouse this should not be a problem.

Since intalling a wireless mouse on my laptop, I can't control panning with
the wheel button. Previously, w/ a standard wheel mouse, the wheel would
zoom and depressing the wheel would permit panning. But now depressing the
wheel mouse just causes panning the right regardless of how the mouse is
moved around. In fact it causes panning to the right even if the mouse is
held stationary.

The variable mbuttonpan is set to 1.

The mouse functions properly in all other applications.

Any ideas?
