when moving

i have autocad 2007
when i move object or copy/paste with mouse redrawing of object is slow
i have a64 x2 3800+ and ati 1300pro
why is that so
is that normal in autocad that when i move object redrawing is slow expecially when it has large amount of lines....
is there some was to speed up process
