We are all using AutoCAD Map 2006.
I got our IT guy to sort it out, sorry I can't explain what magic he
performed...copied some kind of system preferences file (template?)
from someone elses computer and stuck it on mine. I don't think it is
an official solution to the problem since there must be something that
can be done without stealing files from other computers, but I've just
about had it, so I can't be bothered to struggle with it anymore....

I am on 2004DX (AutoCad + Mechanical Desktop).
I was just thinking of upgrading to 2006, before they start warning that
they are discontinuing support etc. Now you're making me nervous!
