Okay. How about "decent hardware programmer"... Is that better?
She is hardly a mere programmer. Anybody that is a good analog
designer is more than just a "digital FPGA programmer".
I watched her entire talk at Stanford, and it was pretty amazing. She
has all the skills to be a legitimate "design engineer" at any big
company that designs chips (Intel, TI, AMD).
The only skill she probably lacks are architecture skills.
