IBM DS400 SAN

All,
Am setting up a DS400 SAN with an array of Dell dual CPU servers running
Red Hat Enterprise 4. Have QLogic FC cards installed. FC Switch... etc...
I am having issues at the moment with getting RH to assign a device to the
SAN so that applications can access it.
Any help would be appreciated.
