Need Help with VME System in Chicago

I am looking for help with a VME system running OS-9 in Chciago,
Illinois. This system is used on a high speed packaging machine in an
industrial enviroment. The system consists of a Motarola processor
and 4 Japanese I/O cards. The controller is disabling itself (run LED
OFF) 4-8 seconds after cold start or reset. the diagnostic LEDs on
the processor are all showing normal condition, (no faults). The
terminal port, when viewed through hyper terminal, displays that it is
starting a OS-9 program, then nothing. We have tried replacing the
processor and checked the power supply. Does anyone have any other
ideas. I am familular with industrial PLCs, but do not know muck
about VME systems or OS-9.
