That web page doesn't actually say anything useful.
What I would find useful in my decision about whether to download the
package at all would be:
a) what language is the package written in?
b) what platforms does it run on? what libraries does it require?
c) does it have documentation (and can I read the documentation
without downloading the zip file)?
d) are there examples of how well it works on some standard problems?
Unless you answer these questions, I couldn't be bothered to download
the package itself.
can be bothered? oh come on, it's only 166K.
a) and b) it's windows dll, written in MSVC6, test project in
BCBuilder6
c) nope, only test project and comments in source
d) there aren't
all this comes under GPL, which will not make windows folks happy. the
author should consider lowering it to LGPL, imho.
