I am looking at
http://www.umiacs.umd.edu/research/EXPAR/papers/3449/node18.html -
actual results of "region growing" on raw satellite data. They look
almost exactly like scanned map itself...
The problem with your approach is that it seems I should get too many
lines. How do I identify which are real? Or, how do I decide if I
should merge regions - suggestions?
