I was simply referencing Dobzhansky's quote.

I guessed that you might have been intending that.  But I have no
idea why.  Dobzhansky was commenting on what makes sense in biology,
not in what makes sense in philosophical discussions of cognition.
So I still have no clue as to what point you thought you were making.

Your just quibbling. A zebra must accurately perceive the difference
between a lion and another zebra.

Wrong.  The zebra needs to discriminate between a lion and another
zebra.  But it does not need to accurately perceive the difference
(as if "accurately perceive the difference" actually meant anything).



This is just quibbling. No matter how you choose to phrase it, the
zebra will get the short end of the natural selection stick if it
fails to do the perception properly.
