well as a matter of fact, I do ask, but am unlikely to ever
get what I wanted, as a consequence I've just collected all my
notebooks over the past 12 years (for the second time in my life)
and had a nice cosy fire...! you're quite right :) some people are
quite incapable as a women and as an engineer at anytime, although
I'd extend that to any career, and I'd strongly urge any females
to keep their best work all to themselves until they either get the
work they wanted or find a suitable partner to share their best
research ideas with.
