In the history of evolution where did life begin? there was only a
bunch of chemical components, then at some point in evolution the RNA
phase came along, then came DNA.
If you were intending that to be analogous, then it is a poor
analogy. How life began is a very interesting question. It is
difficult to investigate, but for a different reason. Namely, the
presence of DNA based life would tend to contaminate the evidence in
any experimental work, making it extremely difficult to investigate
possible proto-life scenarios.
