Hi all,
on www.genalgo.com forum I read this:
"Good day at all,
during the discussion GECCO 2007 in the workshop "Open-Source Software
for Applied Genetic and Evolutionary Computation (SoftGEC)" with Jason
H. Moore as chair of this workshop; an interesting question came out:
"What's the real barrier for the diffusion and to increase the use of
the evolutionary algorithm?"
On of the present, responded: "I think that the major barrier about it
is that, every time that I have to develop an evolutionary algorithm,
I have to re-write thousands of code for the same operators."
So, starting from this point, the community bind ourselves to think
about this question.
I'm starting with the analysis of an engine that, I hope, will allow
us to improve the implementation time of our code.
So, I hope that others developer will write here any idea about this
project and help me with this analysis; I'll constantly write here my
progress and I hope that the admin will give me a dedicated area for
this project.
Thanks to all.
Bye."
I want to invite you to partecipate to this discussion and, if you
have time and feel like, please reply to him.
Bye all.
