GP: Searching for good C++ Kernel

I'm starting on a GP Project in C++ and now I have to decie, which
Framework I will take. I found quite a bunch of Kernels throughout
the net, but because most of them are out of date, in beta-stadium
or bad documented it is very hard to compare them
If someone has a suggestion which to take, this would help alot.
.
