And it is not just genes that make you priest/fanatic etc. Also
enviroment play a big role. If priests wouldnt exist in the first place
you probably can have any genes you want and you wouldnt become a
priest.

I would advise you to read: Matt Ridley: Genome.

In fact, although I'm reluctant to endorse his specific priorities,
there's a computer scientist/mathematician, written up in a recent issue
of MIT Technology Review, who has enumerated a list of research
priorities needed to overcome aging. He's not a kook, but he's not a
scientist either.
