[q] GA when dimension of problem is huge, GA + classification

hi there !

I have two questions, but they are tied.
So, the first one is :

- my problem is to optimise error function in the fuzzy inference
system. On the task I must use
  a genetic algorithm for this. Ok, but now I have a huge number of
parameters, more exactly 90.
  I'm sure for such huge problems exists special ways and details to
implement GA.
  I want to know all of those.

The second is :

- genetic algorithms and classification problems : what's it ? what ga
is doing here ? applications ?
  direct links ? implementations ?
