Hi Patrick,
Don't you think it would be unjust if we just define the life as how we
percieve it? I mean, when initially the life originated on earth, it
did not have any specific goal. So, the attributes which you propose
just arose naturally out of evolution.
So wouldn't it be better if we could somehow develop an artificial
being which has its own meaning and parameters of life. Like, silicon
based life or artificial life may or may not evolve the above 13
parameters.
But, certainly the attributes will aid the programmers to define some
basic brain/knowledge which compensates for the scarcity of time (which
is sufficiently available to evolution).
