Re: What is System Completion Code FD6?

... and the winner is: Steve Conway!

I'm surprised that this August bunch of Sysprogs couldn't handle the Hex -> decimal conversion ;-)

In QuickRef, do Categories, then System Abend Codes. Select any of the
system abend codes Fxx:

Fnn

Explanation: The system detected an error while processing a Supervisor
Call (SVC) instruction. The last 2 digits of this completion code, nn, are
the operand of the SVC instruction in hexadecimal. For example, completion
code X'F0D' means that the error occurred while the system was processing
SVC X'0D', that is, SVC 13.

So, user SVC x'D6', or 214 has a problem. QuickRef has some suggestions.
Look in IEASVCxx to see what product is using it. I don't have a 214
here, so I don't know if it may be the default for a product I don't run.

Good luck.

Cheers,,,Steve
