I have this for 3480, 3490 drives. But I sure can't find it for the 3592
(yes, I know, it is now obsolete and replaced by some LTO drive, 1120?).

Can someone point me to where I can get this manual or its equivalent?

1. It is not obsolete, but replaced by third generation of "Jaguar" family. I assumed you mean 3592-J1A which is the first generation. The second one is also 3592: 3592-E05.

2. I'd suggest SCSI command reference. However you'll get reference of the drive commands which is good idea if you talk directly to the drive. Not a mainframe case. For mainframes you should read controller specs.
