There is an old joke regarding the circular arguments about documentation:
Caller: The example on page 666 is incorrect.
IBM: So what? It's only an example.
Caller: How do I ... ?
IBM: Use the example on page 666.
Bad documentation hurts us all.
And, IBM should be more pro-active and less defensive.
