A DOC APAR would help in the interim, imho, but the OP doesn't seem to agree.

FWIW,
I agree with the OP on DOC APARs. I've had many open for years and had to keep banging on IBM to get them incorporated into the manuals. RCF's work better, but I've also had to follow up a lot on those. It really depends on the software group you're dealing with. Some are better than others.
