I removed CSF.SCSFMOD0 from the LNKLST and the APF list, but
when I attempt to delete I get an error message saying it is
in use. It appears there it is used by LLA and XCFAS. How
can I realese the Dataset from LLA and XCFAS? Thanks.
Having just installed the ICSF upgrade here, I think the simplest
approach (the one I used) is to:
1. Stop CSF;
2. Rename CSF.SCSFMOD0 (requires READ authority to a FACILITY profile
described here:
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/DGT2S330/2.6.
3.4 ) to CSF.SCSFMOD0.xxx ;
3. Delete CSF.SCSFMOD0.xxx from the target volume;
4. Allocate CSF.SCSFMOD0.yyy on the target volume;
5. Rename CSF.SCSFMOD0.yyy to CSF.SCSFMOD0 ;
6. Proceed with installation of the upgrade.
If you're installing HCR7750, remember to re-allocate your PKDS with the
increased maximum record length.
