Hi,

When I try to save WLM definition to a new dataset using "FILE -> SAVE
AS", then I get the following msg:

DATA SET SYSU.WLM.SERVDEF.NEW.CX NOT ALLOCATED, VOLUME NOT AVAILABLE+
VOLUME NECESSARY TO SATISFY YOUR REQUEST NOT ON SYSTEM, AND CANNOT BE
MOUNTED
***
and

Unable to allocate new data set. TSO ALLOCATE return code is: RC=12
(IWMAM079)

when I change the dataset HLQ to my user ID, it works ok. Is that possible
the CATALOG 's problem? cuz' they are in different UCATs. or the SMS
routine's problem?

Any help will be appreciated.

PS: I have access to SYSU HLQ datasets, I can manually allocate the
dataset in 3.2.

Seems me ..it's a SMS rotine problem ..Check what HLQ it is trying to
allocate...The catalog problem I am not saying because assume even
there is no alias for the dataset it will go to the master catalog
however won't create problem...and the above message says Volume not
available which gives idea about the SMS where you are may be trying
to allocate a NON-SMS dataset for which ur id not define..or there
can be many other reason...definately if you go through them properly
will get the idea.
