Broken URLs in Postings (was: Record Credit card heist...TJM)

Why is it that URLs in articles you post appear twice with
neither being usable; the first because of the appended '_',
the second because of the appended ')'?
Can't you just write the URL once, with no noise characters?
Such as:
http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D8O5TU180.htm
