Even cash is plastic now - with gift cards. There are lots of
reasons for not wanting a record of how we spend our money, starting
with buying presents for our wives and mistresses - without our wives
seeing the receipt before Christmas.
Privacy laws are designed to limit Big Brother, and the IS industry
needs to be aware of requirements in both directions.
