How to 'fake' a PCOM Session connection

I am a developer working on some integration projects for my company.
We have created a scraping tool which utilizes the OCX provided by the
PCOM setup to scrape values off of the screen and populate them into
our software. This helps out our clients a lot as they do not have to
reenter keystrokes.
My dilemma is how can we demonstrate this ability to potential clients
without having to connect to their IBM AS400 system (or any server for
that matter)?
Is there a way to have the a PCOM Session open on your PC and have a
'fake' connection to it or be able to utilize the screen without having
a connection at all? If we can find a way to do this then we could
potentially demonstrate this using our own lap tops or other
environments that do not have any connection to an actual AS400 system.
If there is another terminal emulator program that someone knows of
that could be utilized for demonstration purposes that would be
excellent as well.
Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
