the CE. The hardware reference manual used to be key and contained
diagnostic and sense data for the device, some was IBM confidential(and were hoarded).
As we've migrated to a more open approach most manuals are now offered under
Hardware section of Library server. For the SHARK(from Command reference):


5.1.2 ECKD 32 Byte Sense Data Summary








The contents of bytes 7-14 are dependent on the Exception Class in bits 0-3
of byte 22 and the format in bits 4-7 of byte 6. The other bytes contain the
same information for all Exception Classes except as indicated in the
following summary.



General meaning for the various formats are given below and the details are
in _"ECKD 32 Byte Format" in topic 5.3_
