Well, I am getting a picture on the TV now
maybe there was a problem with the connection

Still not getting any sound to the TV - getting it to the PC speakers only

Graphics card is GeoForce 9600 GSO

Any Suggestions

What is the cable you have between them? Any adapters? Have you
installed the TV's drivers? (yes they exist).

Also, if there are two DVI outlets on your card, you may need to use the
other one (swap), because only one is DVI-D, which is the HDCP port.

Drivers? NVidia. Drivers, Sound. Choose the output device in the sound
card/chip settings.
