Problem with several Sony DVD players
Help....
I own several region one DVD players. They all are suffering from the
same problem. When I load a DVD the laser moves back and forth on the
carriage, but the DVDs won't spin. The exact same symptoms in three
different models.
I thought that small children might be at fault, but one of the players
is out of reach of inquisitive two year olds with Fisher-Prices tools.
Any ideas regarding this common fault?
As far as trouble shooting, I have removed the covers from two of the
affected players, and if I manually rotate the DVD, occasionally it
will "catch" and the movie will load....
