Why would Neflix pull an anime series?

A thread in one of the space newsgroups reminded me I'd never watched
the final disk of the anime 'Planetes', so I decided to put in in my
queue. Imagine my surprise to not find the title pop up in a search...
by going into the list of my previous rentals I was able to access the
page for the show
http://www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?movieid=70043391&trkid=64596

and see that all the disks have been pulled. Has anyone else seen this
kind of thing?
