**Are you saying that you don't have an actual PAL to NTSC converter?
That combo is almost useless without it. I've purchased a multisystem
VCR from them along with the comWorld 1200 converter. No PAL tapes or
PAL DVDs will work without the converter *but* NTSC items should work.
It also has an NTSC tuner which is on the rare side.
Can you describe your set-up exactly?
