You would think that 'cause you don't live here and you're a dork.
Being in a place over a long period of time desensitizes a person, not
the other way around.

I just spent two consecutive weekends with relatives (never rains but
it pours) did all the touristy things with them, they were giddy as
all get out and I was bored to death. Been there done that, been there
done that,
been there done that, been there done that, been there done that, been
there done that, x 30 frickin' years.

That's why I know you're so full of crap - because you think long time
locals wet their pants on a daily basis over living in Vegas and spend
all their time gambling, eating in gay restaurants and seeing one same-
as-another show after another.
Ever read ronson or Marsha L going on and on about such things? Of
course not.

You would think that someone who has lived in Las Vegas for 30 years
and spends untold hours reading and posting to a newsgroup dedicated
to vacationing in Las Vegas would have something to bring to the
table.  I make no judgments as to the motives of any poster, but I'm
just sayin.

Bob, Good morning my friend.
I posted your very view for years and years. I received retorts that
the group was unmoderated and that they could argue all they wanted.
I am following the ng styles of those that said that, well, I am not
arguing just posting useful things to some. It is, as they so
correctly said, unmoderated. I just let them stew. Now that they
must wear the shoe that they believed in so much, they don't seem to
like it!! "things that make you go , hum...."

I find it humorous that someone will post and repost something from
years ago in response to a legit grocery store food price request
(that they are not aware of), then, jump right into a vitriolic post
on "off topic". The very post they are making that takes up so much
space and time (their view) is more off topic than any. This
newsgroup is not now dedicated to anything Las Vegas. It is morphing
back to it, but it is nowhere there yet. It should be, but it is not,
evidence the posts. This newsgroup is dedicated to the mindless
rantings and ravings of trolling lunatics that cannot find their ass
on the toilet. Yet they unsuccessfully attempt to give form and
substance to their ravings. I have to join their style to get them to
see, so be it. Plus, from me you get free programs instead of
arguments and rudeness... in this unmoderated forum. If you want a
moderated on topic forum, lets talk.

So many of these arses are different internet personalities created
and used upon their need by "one" person. There is not a dozen people
sharing a view. There is one man, sweating and twitching cursing and
spitting on his monitor screaming at himself. (ever seen the Hobbit
guys with the little freakish guy that is supposed to be guiding
them,... "my precious") He wants the ring so bad, yet it is always
just outside of his reach")! We have a newsgroup that needs to be
dedicated to something more civil than mindless trolling and meanness
by one man.
