In this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPx-11oyxDY) the
President of Philadelphia Park Casino Dave Jonas admits that the
casino waters down the alcohol in the free drinks it comps it's
customers, Jonas describes how the casino delivers one third of the
amount of a normal drink-----"a shot is actually a third of a shot"
Now a shot is an ounce and a half. As a veteran of many casino
cocktails I was never under the illusion I was getting a full shot
alcohol. But I always thought it was an ounce or just slightly less.
third of a shot is only .50 ounce.
Anyone "in the know" have any reliable information on this issue?
And also are the drinks at the VP bars stronger than those on the
floor? It sometimes seems that way to me.
Just ask for BUD and you won't have to worry about watered down
drinks. Ronald Emerson. Is it June yet?
You'll have to worry about dyspepsia, though.
I'm drinkin' a Paulaner Hefe-Weizen as I type this. Those damn
Socialists make GREAT beers :-)
