The Kawasaki 500 and 750 triples were the original production crotch
rockets. Stop light to stop light, they couldn't be beat. On w winding
road at speed, they often felt like the frame had a hinge in the middle

My 750 would go into a high speed wobble at around 115 MPH. Came upon
a curve in that situation once and thought it was the end!
Scariest bike I ever rode... a Jawa CZ Speedway Racer, built in
Czechoslovakia.
I've watched a lot of speedway races, but never rode one.
And like Kurt, that was all back in the 70's and 80's.
My first bike was when I was 13. I had a Hodaka 90 moto X bike. Went
on to have a 250 Greeves, 250 Husky, and a 250 Montesa. There used to
be a place called Saddleback Park in SoCal that sanctioned MX races
every weekend. I wonder if it's still alive? Ahh..the good old
days!!!!
